The flat affords excellent access to a wide range of İstanbul landmarks and attractions. Taxim tube stations are a 10 minute walk; Taxim Square is 10 minutes away by foot, as is Galata Tower. Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazzar and Toplapi Palace are all 5 minutes by bus which comes every 5 – 10 minutes from the 100 metres away the apparment.
The area has a huge range of great pubs, restaurants, bars and music venues. You can get the most elegant clubs of İstanbul, Rehab, X Large, Nu Teras just for 5 minutes and the main street of Taksim. Other clubs are just for 10-15 minutes by foot. . İstiklal Street (5 minutes away) has shops, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and cafes. It’s such a lovely area, I usually don’t want to venture too far afield when I’m at home; however if you do want to explore, Historical Istanbul is very close by tube or (website hidden): Warm and lovely place that you can feel the comfort of your own house at the hearth of the most magnificient city of Turkey, Istanbul.
The place is very close to the metro and tram line. The tram line which takes you to the historical peninsula is 20 minutes walk. You are going to have a fun walk on İstiklal Street (24hrs crowded, famous pedesterian street) and you can even see the galata tower on the way going to tram. If you don't walk you can take the nostalgic tram goes along Istiklal or you can use "tunnel" line which is a funiculair system built by french people as the second underground line after London Underground.
